Who we are

OK Bouquet is the trading name of Oksana Klymenko, a self-employed maker based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. For UK data protection purposes, Oksana Klymenko is the controller of personal information used by OK Bouquet.

You can contact us about privacy through WhatsApp on +44 7778 718626 or through our Instagram account.

Information we may use

We collect only information reasonably needed to answer enquiries, prepare and deliver orders, meet legal obligations and provide customer support. Depending on how you contact or order from us, this may include:

  • your name, telephone number, social media username and contact details;
  • the recipient's name, delivery address, postcode and delivery instructions;
  • messages, order details, colour preferences, occasion and personalisation requests;
  • payment status and transaction records, although card or bank credentials are handled by the relevant payment provider;
  • allergy, dietary, accessibility or sensory information that you choose to provide so that we can consider a suitable order;
  • technical information processed by our website host, such as IP address, browser type, device information and security logs; and
  • a postcode submitted to the delivery estimator. The postcode is sent to Postcodes.io to obtain approximate coordinates and is not stored by OK Bouquet.

Most information comes directly from you. A purchaser may also provide a recipient's name, address and delivery instructions so that we can complete a gift order.

Please do not send unnecessary medical information. If you share allergy, health, accessibility or sensory information, we use it only to consider your request and may ask for your clear consent where required.

Who may receive information

We do not sell personal information. We may share only the information needed with:

  • WhatsApp and Instagram, operated by Meta, when you choose to communicate through those services;
  • Vercel, which hosts this website and may process ordinary technical and security logs;
  • Postcodes.io when you ask the delivery estimator to check a postcode;
  • a payment provider or delivery provider, if one is used for your order;
  • professional advisers, insurers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires it, the provider or OK Bouquet must use an approved safeguard for that transfer. External services also operate under their own privacy notices.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

  • Unsuccessful or abandoned enquiry messages are typically retained for no longer than 12 months.
  • Routine order communications are typically retained for up to 24 months so that we can answer questions or resolve concerns.
  • Invoices, payment and accounting records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, legal or insurance purposes.
  • Allergy, accessibility or sensory details are removed after the order and any related concern have been completed, unless a longer period is legally necessary.

Service providers may apply their own retention periods to information held within their systems.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, transfer of information, or withdrawal of consent. These rights are not absolute and legal record-keeping duties may sometimes prevent immediate deletion.

Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You may always object to direct marketing, although we do not currently operate an email marketing list.

Contact us using the details above. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

If you remain unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to resolve the concern first.

Information needed for an order

Contact, product, payment, collection or delivery details are required where they are necessary to quote for and fulfil an order. If the required information is not provided, we may be unable to accept or complete the order.

OK Bouquet does not make decisions about customers based solely on automated processing or profiling.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its revision date.
