Our current approach
The OK Bouquet website uses essential browser storage to remember your preferences and optional privacy-focused Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors explore our bouquets, which collections are most popular, and whether customers find what they need. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or marketing pixels.
Cookies and similar technologies include local storage, session storage and standard HTTP cookies. We respect user privacy and operate Google Consent Mode v2: analytics cookies are only stored on your device if you explicitly choose “Accept” on our banner.
Storage and cookies used by this website
| Name | Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
okBouquetCookieChoice | Local or session storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics storage so that the banner does not repeatedly interrupt your browsing. | Until cleared from the browser, or until the browser session ends after rejection |
okBouquetCollection | Session storage | Remembers the catalogue collection you selected while the tab remains open. | Until the browser tab or session closes |
_ga | HTTP Cookie (Google Analytics) | Distinguishes unique visitors to help us understand anonymous audience size. Stored only when you click “Accept”. | 2 years (or until cleared) |
_ga_8W577BV8FR | HTTP Cookie (Google Analytics) | Maintains anonymous session state and counts events (such as bouquet card views and filter clicks). Stored only when you click “Accept”. | 2 years (or until cleared) |
Accepting the banner activates Google Analytics cookies so we can see which bouquet designs attract the most interest and improve the website. Rejecting the banner ensures no analytics cookies are placed on your device; Google Analytics then operates only in restricted, cookieless privacy mode without tracking you across visits.
Delivery postcode tool
When you choose to check delivery, the postcode you enter is sent directly to Postcodes.io so that approximate coordinates can be returned. OK Bouquet does not add that postcode to local storage or an order record merely because you used the estimator.
Postcodes.io and our website host may process ordinary technical information under their own policies. Please see our Privacy Notice for more detail.
External services
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and other external services take you away from this website. Those services may use their own cookies or similar technologies, and their privacy choices are controlled separately.
How to control storage and analytics
You can accept or reject analytics storage at any time through the cookie banner. You can also re-open your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of any page.
You can also clear or block cookies directly through your browser settings. Blocking essential browser storage may mean that your banner preference or catalogue selection cannot be saved across pages.
